You could also try Cascade Fixation. I've used it to make socks, but I don't know why you couldn't use the yarn for a tank. It is mostly cotton with a little elastic.

I love my Denise needles. I also have some KP interchangeables, but the Denise are so much easier to change the needle or cable size. Just a quick twist and you're ready to go!
