another use for blocking board

I use my plastic blocking board to hold the pieces of knitting that I am sewing together in place. I line up the two pieces and hold them in place with pins. This helps keep the pieces lined up...

I have found telemark to be stiff and scratchy. I would only use it for an outside garment like a ski sweater or a jacket over a shirt so it doesn't touch the skin.
