You helped me confirm what I thought. Could not get the # of decreases I needed to end up with the 43 stitches. Just realized tip 4 is 4 decreases per marker. The cape looks real easy in the picture...

It cannot be every other one that would work out too wide as well. Every 2 row increase is 4"
If I calculate it according to 16 sts=4" and 20 rows = 4" I think I should repeat the increases rows...
