Wanda, I'm not sure what happened with your hat. If you were knitting inside out the whole time (that happens to me with items knit in the round sometimes) you might have joined the yarn for the stem...

Looking for a wrap pattern

I have about 550-600 yards of this yummy (but shed-y) alpaca and I'm thinking it will make a great wrap to keep at work since my office is frequently cold. But I can't find a pattern that I love!...
