Great idea. I never thought to do an "on purpose" mistake swatch to test a difficult tink. I usually end up tinking back father than necessary when I make that kind of mistake. Thanks!

I like doing them both at the same time. Since they're small,separate your yarn into 2 balls and cast on 2 booties on the same needle. If you knit them at the same time, they end up the same size
