Blocking acrylic yarn

I use red heart super saver yarn. I also have some made from super chunky yarn. I have regular scarves and circular scarves. Do I need to block them? If so, how?

Two color scarf

I want to do a scarf where the entire left side is one color and the right is a different color. You cross the colors somehow and almost end up with a cable down the middle. I saw a video somewhere...

Rolling scarf edges

I knitted an infinity scarf in the round and the edges are rolled/curled. I knit every row and I'm womdering if I should have knit and purled. Also, any suggestions on how to fix it.

Checking my math after I completed my gauge

The pattern has 7 stictches= 4 in, 12 rows = 4" in stiches. The pattern calls for casting on 36 stitches.

My gauge is 16 stitches and 16 rows in 4".

I calculate that I need to casr on 82...

How many stitches should I cast on for a kids scarf?

I usually do 25-30 for an adult. I am making a scarf for a nine yr old. I started with 20but it seems really small. I am using a garter stitch and knitting every row so I don't have a pattern.
