Where do you live? Isn't there another roofer that would be willing to do just half of your roof? I would certaintly get at least the one half done, and then worry about the other half.

When you get to the end of the row, there should only be 1 stitch left on your needle. Cut your yarn and pull it through that stitch and tighten. Are you sure that you only have that 1 stitch left...

Those are darling! Love the colors! My baby booties turned too small! I did a pattern for a newborn hoodie and booties and the booties are TINY and the hoodie is more like a 6 month size.
