Have you tried using point protectors to keep everything together? In a pinch, I once resorted to using a rubber band to hold the stitches together in the center of a needle. It was annoying, but...

I still find myself referring to Stitch and Bitch more than any other book (and I have loads to choose from). Second favorite is Knitting for Dummies.

Don't have either, but I did own a Mitsubishi about 20 years ago, and it was the BEST car I've ever owned. The only reason I've never bought another is any time I look at a foreign car, I hear my...

Just think how freakin' smart you're going to feel when you master the doggone things. I feel just a little superior to the other mere mortals when I use DPNs. The shock value from other people's...

I've considered the SnB that meets at The Knit Nook on Bardstown Road on Thursday evenings (and maybe Sunday afternoons).

I like Clover bamboo (7"). Not *hideously* expensive. Right amount of grip, don't like DPNs too slippery. Points are not too pointy.

Second choice are el cheapo Boyes or Susan Bates aluminum DPNs.
