Thanks everyone for your input. I've found some yarn that is 30% wool and 70% acrylic. which is the same as Waves. The tension and needles are not a match but the pattern I'm using is easy to work...

I think any type of soap is ok as long as it's not touching the yarn. I've got an unopened bar of lavender soap in my stash and everything smells of it.

toe up sock pattern for DK wool

I think Silver's tutorials are great but her DK socks are from the top down.

Hi I've been given 2 balls of Katia Futura yarn which is soo soft. The only problem is, what do I knit with it?
