Seaming Bottom of Knitted Bag

Hi, I am mystklady and I need some help... I just knitted a Bubble Bag and need to close up the bottom of it before I Felt it... I know there must be a way to do it so you will have nice rounded...

What is the technique that makes the connection with last CO stitches and the first CO stitches.. For instance: Join the CO stitches for Socks... to make a tighter connection to begin with... I know...

Thanks Suqeez. I already CO 30 sts and working the rib pattern whichis the first two rows in pattern and should give me the amount of stitches.. but once my square is done ..how do I measure it.......

Wow just read about the I-cord style... I get it but I am about to start a project and got to make a gauge.. First of all, not sure how many stitches to cast on.. if the pattern calls for 30 stitches...

Sewing Zipper in Felted Bag

Thank you Jan for your repsonse..When you talk about bottom edge, I think you mean the outer edge and sew in place with zipper open. Not sure what yiu mean about cutting along midline... I have sewn...

I understand the kniting to gap but when it says to turn ..the first time is OK but when you start the second row across the gap is near the right hand needle and it says to knit across to the last...
