Nonny, I agree with your friend - at the quilt shows that I have gone to recently machine quilting seems to be very popular. I myself love hand quilting. It is alot like knitting.. in that it is a very "peaceful" thing to do. Very relaxing..calming after a long day at work. I also like the look of handquilting better (MPO)
