I learned English first but wanted to try Continental b/c ribbing took me so flipping long to do and Conti just looked faster all around. I watched Amy's videos and just couldn't pick it up for the life of me - I'm far too uncoordinated. Someone on KH linked to thisYouTube video and it helped me out. It still felt really awkward for a while, but I kept at it and now I prefer it. I can be pretty dang speedy if I do say so myself. That being said, stick with whatever you're comfy with. It's not a contest, it's purely for your enjoyment.
