YES!
They work better, and you can wash them in washer. I hang mine to dry. The colored netting is safe to bleach out stains. Unfortunately, the sugar 'n' cream is not colorfast.
Even normal washings fade the colors.
Be sure and use the scratchiest netting. The scratchier the better. No tulle!
