I was just checking out knit picks new catalog and they've got these beautiful natural cottons in different colors. I'm kind of on a trip of knitting with undyed fiber right now so I'm psyched. But I've never knit with cotton before and so I'm not sure what to expect. I've seen a couple of summer tops I'm excited to knit but the patterns call for synthetic fibers like rayon or nylon.

I'm afraid that worsted cotton just wouldn't be drapy enough. I was thinking I might be able to get it drapier by knitting to the same gague the patterns call for (3.75 st/.in) the sport weight? This is what Eunny Jang advised for the bubble cardigan on Knitting Daily that didn't make it into the Spring 09 issue of Interweave because the worseted weight yarn the pattern calls for was discontinued.

Has anyone actually knit with this yarn who could advise on drape?
