The red ones are gorgeous...I had never seen one and had to "google" it. Mine came from the woods nearby. I know you're not supposed to transplant them this time of year but it's rained solid for the last 2 weeks, the ground was super soggy and the tap roots were intact so now they are here!!! One is about 12' tall, the other is about 9'. Both have great shape and can be seen from the bedroom window. Yep, my son and husband did good.

Could you root the branches in wet sand, maybe?
