Hello fellow yarnies. I am wondering if anyone knows a method (recipe) to knit in the round from the center out and have the work be flat rather than a tube. I know there will need to be increases, but how many each round, how many each additional round, etc. If possible, I'm looking for methods to make both a circular shape and a square shape. I'm supposing a circle would have increases evenly spread around whereas a square would need them at the corners. Also, I was thinking regarding the increases: is it ok to use a yarnover as an increase (does that work?), or just use a common increase method like between stitches or kf&b of stitch? I have looked all over the net for info and my books. Any help and you'll be my knitting super hero
