My name is David. I am a 63 year old English man living in Sweden with my Swedish wife Maibritt. We are both knitters and she specialises in Norwegian knitting, but is not active at the moment. I knit most days for an hour or so and find it very enjoyable. I learned to knit from a book about 30 years ago, but my knitting has only really taken off in the last couple of years, since I have had more time due to being half time pensioner.

So far I have knitted mainly socks, ponchos and cardigans. I also enjoy crochet and recently crocheted a pair of slippers. I have already found Knitting Help a real blessing.

Welcome to KH David! Glad to see another guy knitter here.

What do you mean guys don't knit?

Linux: because a PC is a terrible thing to waste.

Perfection is overrated. Knitting is meant to relieve stress, not cause it. Relax and enjoy it.
