Try donating them as chemo hats. They come in all sizes and some of them like to wear a nice soft hat or cap. I have a friend that uses a loom to knit hers on. The Cancer Society gladly takes them and requests in addition to the smaller hats some larger size would be welcomed too. Also you could try the military organizations that put together baskets of baby items for mom's to be. I know on there is a link for items that a deployed spouse can pick from to send to his wife for the baby. It makes them feel like a part of the birth experience. So maybe you or a friend could do a blanket or booties to go along with you little hats.
