A friend of mine was looking at our forum and wondered why someone didn't finish their sections. She was referring to the small section the blankets are started with. I told her that was just the way some of them were started. Then I started looking at some of the other regions blankets and noticed we're the only ones starting blankets this way. Guess it's not a huge deal because, after all, they are "oddball" blankets...but, out of curiosity, do they appear incomplete to anyone else?

I noticed it and wondered. Personally, I think they would look better with 5 complete sections and then the border rows but either way works. As you pointed out - they are 'oddball' blankets so almost anything would work.
