I recommend Jeannee DK or Kraemer Yarns Little Lehigh. Both are cotton/acrylic blends and wash well. I made socks and a summer purse from the Jeannee. Kraemer's Little Lehigh is available in DK online and in shops. I used it for a little boy's sweater in teal, a little girl's pinafore and a lacy summer sweater for myself in lavender. I really like them both and the prices are very reasonable too.
