Jodi - I have to be honest, I used size 8 & 9. I needed size 9 for the gauge, and I don't like my ribbing to be too tight, so I used size 8 for that. I especially didn't want it to pull when I did the edging around the button area. In my opinion, if you are using size 10, I'd use nothing smaller than 8's for the ribbing.
