Mine is a ninth edition from May 1989. All of those from 1979 are first editions I believe! The book person in me thinks that is very cool! I have to say I was very interesting in the lace making. It looks pretty cool! The macrame though, well I joked with hubby that I would make a macrame window covering. I think he was afraid I meant it
