There is more than one way of course, to do this. But I prefer the knitting on method or cable cast on when I have to increase on the edge itself.

Real easy: the videos are a littel further down in the list, underneath the long section for the first video.
I would recommend the knitting on (less likely to leave holes at those stitches).

oh, by the way: If I need to cast the stitches on at the END of my needle for a pattern, I still just turn my work and cast on (extra stitches) this way.
Another version would be to use the crochet cast on, but the ones in the videos will do great!
