Patterns often use multiple plus sts to show how many you need to use. There's no video because all you need is a calculator before you start knitting. For this one multiply 4 (which would be 8, 12, 16, 24, 28, etc) then add 3, so you'd end up with 11, 15, 19, 28, 31) for the number of sts to work across.
