resizing footie pattern for felting
HELP My husband has an old wornout pair of footies (very basic pattern - no turned heel or cuff). I found the pattern to make these, but want to felt them and need some guidance on how to increase the pattern to allow for the proper shrinkage that occurs during felting. I've made over a dozen felted boots and remember they were about three inches longer and bigger around than the end product/actual foot measurement.
Please help me with the guaging or send me a footie pattern for felting. I've searched google and looked a many dozens of patterns. The ones I want to make are very low and don't come up around the ankle in the front so are easy to slip on.
I'd like to give these as a gift for Christmas, so a prompt answer would be amazing! This is the link to the one I found
Thanks! Mary
