I did it. It's around 8.5' wide. If it draws up when laundered, I'm sure it'll relax when wet again.

I had to refer to your video. Great help. When I first stitched the first & sixth wedges together it ended up uneven so I took that out & tried again. I laid the cloth right side up & stitched the ends together making the bars line up & the whip stitches look like bars. Hard to see that it's the seam. My crochet border attempt looked lousy, so mine doesn't have a border.

I enjoyed making it & want to make more. Thank you!!
