Sock Knitting Help Needed
Hi all! I started a pair of socks almost two years ago, swearing I would finish them in time for my sister's birthday which is in the month of June. Well, it didn't happen. To add insult to injury, I have lost the original pattern! It is a simple basic sock, but I can't remember what to do next with it. It has 72 casted on, I did a 2x2 rib for about an inch, and then a basic knit in the round (using three dpns) for another six inches. I have turned the heel, and from what I can tell I have started to knit around with some possible decreases. Currently on the top needle (if you were wearing the sock the top needle to me would be on the top of your foot) are 36 stitches, the other two needles have 26 stitches each. I would really prefer to NOT have to frog this and start over, so I am open to any help at this point. Thank you!!!
