When I had time to help with these blankets, I posted on my website about the borders I crocheted on them. They were all pretty easy and they can be found in this list:

Also when all else fails, reverse single crochet is a good border for any blanket!

I'm so glad to know that these blankets are still being made and given away...such a nice thing to do!
