I considered that, but the look doesn't appear a top down approach. Does this site support pictures? I'll take a couple photos tomorrow and post them if that helps. The hat isn't 'hard' to replacate, but it's such a fun look for girls in the 4 -10 age range.

If this works, I'll write down my method and post the pattern, no guarantees. I'm confident many of you will LOVE this hat. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. It's made with a cotton yarn, smallish needles. I need to figure all that out.
