When you finish (is that what you mean) just knit a WS row instead to start your 10 rows of garter st and BO when you've done them. If you're off one row it won't be that noticeable.

That is what i started to do but because the border is a different color it didn't look the same. so i waited and switched colors on a RS row and knit for 1 row, then 9 consecutive knit rows. i think it made a better transition...THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR INSIGHT!
