I didn't realize the tips were shorter so they would accomodate a 16". I rarely use them anymore preferring ML anyway. Good to know we have a choices now for reasonably priced needles.

Jan, out of curiosity, I just measured both the Knitter's Pride Cubics I have with my regular Harmony and Option needles, and surprisingly enough, the Knitter's Pride appear to be approximately an eight-of-an-inch longer. I have a pair of the KnitPicks fixed circular on a 16" cable and I felt as though I was knitting with something way too short for my long hand - did not like them at all. I do hope the new needles and 16" cable will not be a problem
