Sounds like there has been a lot going on while we've all been away.

Congrats on the wedding Gina and Congrats on retiring Chris.

Well in June I left the teaching course and since then have been trying to figure out what else to do. I have pretty much decided that I have no desire to go back to teaching so at least I have decided something. I joined a couple of agencies, one for work in a school and one for work in a University. I've been working for the University agency since September taking notes for a student who has dyslexia. It's a nice job but only temporary and part time so I'm still looking for something a little more permanent.

As far as knitting goes I finished a log cabin blanket that has been sitting around for about 3 years, I made a sweater for my brand new cousin, I finished an Irish Hiking Scarf for my Mum and a few other little things. No socks to speak of I'm afraid. Maybe 2012 will see socks make a come back.
