Yeah I checked out a couple of things in various places and actually found something that worked reasonably well. Just slip the first stitch of the round and when you get back around to the "mystery stitch" of the old color that magically appears AFTER the slipped one, pick up the new color from underneath and horse on. Somehow this makes things okay. Haven't yet figured out how, but I'm okay with that.
I watched
a Eunny Jang video on the topic (might have been this one, might not) and almost missed what she was talking about because the astonishing speed at which that woman can get around a set of DPNs had me feeling so inadequate I almost had to go and hide in shame.
