Good advice GG. Actually I tell her constantly I learn more from my mistakes than anything else. I just wanted to be able to teach her how to read patterns and follow them successfully...not fly by the seat of her pants making things work.

There was suppose to be a lesson in it all...but I'm not sure I want to learn it after struggling with this particular book. I have asked myself 100 times WHY am I doing it this way when I know a way that works for me...1 at a time. I just wanted to learn it so I could teach her and thought the challenge would be fun.

It's good to know that I am not the only one that can't figure out a pattern.
