Oof! It would not be fun to try and knit into more than a few of those.
The knitted CO was the first I ever learned and I stopped using it because it gave me such sloppy results that I thought I was doing something wrong.

Yeah, I use long tail for the majority of things I knit. On occasion I'll use a provisional cast, but that's about it.
