Wow. I wish I saw this before I got my Nickel Plated interchangeable set. I just got them and was thinking that the tips didn't seem as sharp as I remember them and the cables seemed a little stiffer than they should be. So I compared the tips I just got to the tips of a set I got a few years ago from a sample set and the tips are indeed not as sharp as they used to be. I recently started a project and decided to use my ChiaGoo fixed circular instead of the KP set I had just gotten. I wish I knew earlier.
