When a pattern says to increase IN the next stitch, knit into the front and back of it.
K2, inc in next st, k1, inc in next st, (k2, inc in next st, k1, inc in next st) 12 times' k2 -

So you would k2, kfb, k1, kfb, (k2, kfb, k1, kfb) 12 times, k2
