Please help me decode this direction, which I am sure is good but I am novice to knitting sweaters.
I am making a vest I have knit the back of the vest and now I am on the Armhole Shaping.
The directions say:

Armhole Shaping:
BO 4 sts at the beginning of the next two rows.

Decrease row (RS) k1, ssk, k to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1.

Following row (WS): p
Repeat the last two rows five more times to 44 sts. Cont even in st st until armhole meas 4 1/2" ending with a WS row.

My question is with the Armhole Shaping. I just did the right side row binding off 4 sts and now I am on the purl side. I assume I bind off doing knit sts and then purl the rest of the sts?

And when it says to repeat the last two rows five more times to 44 sts. is it more clear to you which two rows I am repeating than it is to me?
