It's really frustrating to end up with a mess, and I would think it to be near impossible to tell from your photo what the problem is. That is a really good shot of your work, though Is this the wrap you are working on?

I think you may need to back a bit, to a row that you know you got right, and then continue We've all been there, and we feel for you.
