There'll be a little space at the seam line and you would stick you needle into the area before the seam and pull up a loop of the working yarn, then stick the needle in again just after the seam line and pull up a loop. Maybe it would help not to think of it as a corner but as part of a straight line from the right front across the back and left front? Here's another video on picking up sts (I know you've seen a couple already).
