A sweater knit bottom-up in the round doesn't require but a wee bit of seaming at the underarm. I'm a big fan of Elizabeth Zimmerman's recipes in her books (alas, not free, but a good investment for knitters). They're much like the raglan sweater clareweber found for you, except with EZ's recipes you need to do the math yourself.
