WIP Non-Felted Slippers now FO!!!!
I chose the seamless version, Non-Felted Slippers Biscotte's version , because I don't want to seam and I can try them on as I go. I've ended up doing modifications for a custom fit. That's what hand knitting's all about, making what you want, as you want.

Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn in Grey Marble and U.S. size 8/5 mm needles got me gauge. Knitting this yarn with these needles is a challenge and sometimes (quite literally) a pain. The label recommends U.S. size 13/9mm. With the smaller needles, splitting the yarn has been a given and correcting mistakes is hard, k3tog...AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!! It does produce a very tight stitch and for slippers I like that. For me it's worth the effort to use the needles. The slipper is snug and hugs my foot but not tight.

Subject to change without notice

I finished the short row shaping and realized that I wanted the top of the slipper taller so I've done more rows of garter stitch around the top. I want the center back to hug the back of my ankle so I've done a decrease on each side of the center back on the knit rows. In the photos the yarn has not been cut after the BO as I may decide after working the 2nd slipper top to change it again. I'm thinking about more short rows with decreases on each side of the center back. If I try that and like it better, I'll redo slipper #1 to match.

Thanks for looking. Any comments, questions, or suggestions are welcome! If I've made typos or other errors you find amusing, please feel free to point them out and let us all join in the fun!
