Row 14 of the charted pattern has a k2tog decrease with no corresponding increase in the same row, so you will be working with a decreased stitch count until Row 19 where you will be doing a M1 increase stitch with no corresponding decrease in that row. This will return you to your original stitch count.
Row 28 has a k2tog decrease and Row 33 has a M1 increase, again returning you to your original stitch count.
