Knitted Gift Bags
There is a pattern in The Knitters' Bible (pg. 152) It's a blue knit gift bag. I am adapting it to be a 6 yr olds purse. Just adding 2" in width. Add then probably hieght. Anyway the pattern says make 2 the same size 6" x 6" (those are my numbers) then sew them together. My question is could I make one 12" long and just sew up the sides? Does that make sense? Anyone have this book? ~Thanks
