oona, were you able to figure this out yet? I'm planning on doing this pattern too. Since the chart doesn't incorporate the border stitches, can't you just repeat the chart twice? I may totally be missing something here, but with my limited knowledge of charts it seems like that might work. It might not be exactly what you have pictured though. Not sure if that's any help.
