I do a lot of charity knitting events at my home. I have a friend with cervical cancer, and she has set up a program where she gives gift bags to cancer patients at local hospitals. It's a wonderful way for us to make scarves, hats, and toys for the local patients. I love getting folks together to learn to knit for a great cause. Colleen's website is at

She's taught me so much about how knitting can help people really enjoy the life they are living, even though things seem to be falling apart around them.

Abundant blessings,
