You could knit a glove, like a whole glove, but doing a lacey part on the palm and then doing the fingers solid. You'd have to probably cast on more stitches right before the fingers part though so that your fingers CAN be solid.

Or you could cast on as many sts in your gauge that equal the circumference of your hand under your fingers, knit for a few rows and then divi up the stitches and knit 4 sections for fingers. And you'd have to do the same on the thumb part, unless you just decide you dont want a thumb and you can just make it into a big buttonhole so your thumb can slide through.
