BTW, Angelia, I was just reading on another thread that you are a literature professor - so cool! That's just what I wanted to be when I grew up before I got sidetracked by med school.  What flavors of literature are your interests?

I used to think it would be so cool to be a doctor. Then I married a medical student!! It's like the seventh circle of hell, quite frankly, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. (Ok, well, maybe my worst ....) The sheer volume of reading is beyond belief, and I'm suprised anyone makes it through.
Plus, there are people who go through med school, like my DH, with FAMILIES. I know mothers with multiple kids who do it. Incredible.
I applaud anyone who can go to med school. And KNIT, no less!!
