Oohh.... Wrinkle in Time is good! I like her other series too- Earthsea.

Altime fav (totally cheesy) "Jane Eyre" . I love this book!

Darwin's Radio by Greg Bear (scifi)

Cyteen by C J Cherryh (scifi)

A Stranger in a Strange Land by Heinlein

The Moral Animal by Robin Wright (evolutionary psych)

Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit

Ahab's Wife by Sena Naslund

The Demon Haunted World by Carl Sagan

Contact by Carl Sagan

I could keep going....but I think that's enough. I'm reading a great one right now, well two really, by Marion Nestle, on nutrition and the affects of large food companies and their marketing upon our food choices. I thought nutrition lables were complicated before, but now it's really depressing.
