I'm working on a darling purse for my daughter and am stumped by one of the lines in the pattern. Here is what the directions say:

K3, k2tog(k8, k2tog,k8)k2tog, k2, k2tog, k8, k2tog, k8, k2tog, k3 46 sts

Now that I think about it, it seems that I am to do the k8, k2tog, k8 as my pattern across the row and then knit the last three stitches. I was puzzled by the way it was written. Am I correct?
